Data Management

What is Research Data Management?

Research data management (RDM) is the care and maintenance of data that is produced during the course of a research cycle. It includes thoughtfully considering how you:

  • create and organize data
  • process data
  • analyze data
  • preserve/archive data
  • give access to data
  • reuse data

Managing your data well is one of the best ways to ensure standardization, reproducibility, and the ability to disseminate your research to others with minimal time and effort.
