The Air We Breathe: Home

The Air We Breathe has been developed to link you to sources of air pollution data-- and there are SO MANY! We have tried to be selective by choosing those that are authoritative and present the data in a manner that doesn't take a degree in computer science to figure out.

The emphasis is on US data, preferably data that comes down to the local community or county level. This isn't always possible, though, so you may see reports that focus on the state or a region. And, in the case of greenhouse gases, we have even included some global reports since climate change is a global concern.

If you find an air pollution resource that isn't listed here, please feel free to contact us using the link on the right. Please put in the subject line: Air pollution. This will ensure we see it in a timely fashion.

This resource guide is part of a larger guide that provides access to Environmental Data.
