The Pre-Health Resource Center is devoted to undergraduate health and pre-health interprofessional education, establishing a preeminent educational and advising infrastructure to support undergraduate students interested in health sciences fields.
The Interprofessional Student Board is a team of graduate student representatives from different professional health programs throughout the University, including occupational therapy, physical therapy, physician assistant, pharmacy, dental, and medical students! Each semester, we work together to develop a case study to be presented at a case conference attended by students from as many health disciplines as possible. At the conference, students are split into small groups to discuss how their expertise in their area of study can be of benefit to the patient in the case. Each group is led by a facilitator, who is someone from the community or the represented departments with expertise on the content being discussed. For more information, contact isbpitt@gmail.com.
